Major cultural event :

- Music Festival in Lorient (in August): Celtic music.


Monuments :

- Megalithic Brittany: The rows of Menhir: nearly 3,000 menhirs in 3 locations: Kermario, Ménec and Kerlescan.

- The Cairn of Gavrinis: 16 meters long, the longest aisle dolmen in France.

- The Vauban citadelle of Belle-Île Palace.

- Church Kernascléden: located near the Faouët, its frescoes are worth a small detour.


Natural sites :

- the peninsula of Quiberon: the peninsula just extends 14km into the Atlantic ocean. The coast offers wild scenery. 

- islands: Belle-Île, Groix, L'Île aux Moines. 

- the Gulf of Morbihan: it is a natural harbour, worth taking a cruise
